Hairstyle Trends

Each new season brings a variety of hairstyles that capture our attention and get us thinking about a style or color change for ourselves.   Here's a quick look some of the latest trends.

   Short Haircuts

Not just yesterdays pixie, but a short cut with some edge.   Short might be just the hairstyle for you, especially if you are short on time.

This popular hairstyle accentuates the face by bringing out the eyes and lips.  Bangs can be of varied lenghts to frame the face.

    Medium Long Hairstyles

The Bob. There have been so many variations of this style, it is hard to keep track of them all.  Someone always seems to find a way to freshen it with a redesign.  Take a look at  Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes, both of them wear bobs, both of them are different.

It's a great haircut - and one of my favorites.

   Choppy Shaqs

With this stlye the graduated layers provide a lot of definition to the cut.  Volume is added to the roots and crown to bring out the style.

This is a great, not too short, hairstyle that will also work  for wavy to curly hair.  A style that will flatter many women.

Longer Hair with Bangs
The long hairstyle is a very beautiful choice for a lot of women.
Soft wavy tresses and lightly swept bangs create a great  look.  You can also sweep the sides back and create a retro affect.

Blunt straight solid bangs draw attention to the eyes and create drama.

These styles flatter a lot of face shapes,  which is one of the many reasons they are such popular haircuts.

Sleek and Straight
Everybody loves poker-straight, high shine hairstyles.
Straight hair can be cut as a solid form with blunt ends, or graduated layers to give the hair texture.

If this look is for you make sure you finish it with a good non- heavy silicone based shine product.

Hairstyle trends change all the time.  It is important to keep in mind that not all hairstyles work well for everyone.  How an individual’s hair reacts to a particular cut, or how the cut fits someone’s face shape is more important than any trend.
